About Christine Smith
Christine Smith is a Professor of Corporate Communications and Public Relations at Centennial College in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. With a Bachelor of Education in Adult Education, she is keenly interested in how PR students learn. She also holds a Journalism diploma from Centennial College.
A member of CPRS Toronto, she is a former board member and editor of PR Perspectives, the Society’s member newsletter. Prior to becoming a full-time educator, she specialized in employee communications and public relations for Union Gas, the Scarborough Board of Education and the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ontario. During the 2005-2006 academic year, she took a leave of absence to work full-times as a sales communicator for RBC.
